VVK01 – Associate Professor (Vedic Studies)

Essential Qualification:

  • Ph.D. in relevant discipline
  • Master’s Degree (minimum 55%)
  • 8 years teaching/research experience
  • Minimum 7 research publications
  • Research score: 75 (UGC criteria)

Additional:

  • Master’s + Ph.D. in Veda subject
  • Knowledge of Sanskrit

Desirable:

  • Research work in Vedic Science
  • Knowledge of Śraut/Smārta Yajña

Application Process

  2. ✔ A separate online form is available for Vedic Vigyan Kendra.
  3. ✔ Candidates must first register on the BHU Recruitment & Assessment Cell portal.
  4. ✔ After registration, fill the online application form carefully.
  5. ✔ Apply separately for each post (multiple posts = multiple forms).

Documents Upload

  1. ✔ Keep ready:
    • Passport size photo (JPEG, max 50KB)
    • Signature (max 50KB)
  2. ✔ All mandatory fields must be filled.
  3. ❌ Incomplete applications will be rejected immediately.

While Filling Form

  1. ✔ If the browser closes or logout happens, login again using credentials sent to email.
