NET/SLET/SET shall not be mandatory for candidates who:
Hold a Ph.D. awarded under UGC Regulations 2009 or 2016.
Fulfil all UGC conditions applicable for Ph.D. holders registered before July 11, 2009.
Possess Ph.D. from eligible foreign universities ranked among the Top 500 globally.
