ADVERTISEMENT FOR ENGAGEMENT OF CONSULTANT

Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIML), an autonomous Institution under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, invites online applications from eligible Central Government/PSUs/Autonomous Organizations employees, who have retired/retiring in the next three months period i.e. upto 30.06.2026 for the following two contractual positions of Consultants at IIM Lucknow.

2	Consultant (IT Services) – 01 post Upper Age Limit: 62 years	Essential Qualification: Graduate from a reputed Institute/University in regular mode with minimum of 60% marks. Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in the relevant area/task in Pay Level-10 & above.

REMUNERATION:

A fixed monthly remuneration shall be admissible, arrived at by deducting the basic pension from the pay drawn at the time of retirement.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

1. A candidate applying for the position should be a citizen of India.
2. The term of appointment shall ordinarily be for an initial period not exceeding one year, extendable by another one year based on performance, which is extendable by another one year. Beyond two years after the age of superannuation where adequate justification exists, the term may be extended based on a review of the tasks and the performance of the contract appointee.
3. Transport allowance for the purpose of commuting between the residence and the place of work shall be allowed not exceeding the rate applicable to the selected candidate(s) at the time of retirement.
4. Mere fulfilling the eligibility criteria does not guarantee that the applicant will be shortlisted for the Selection Process. The Institute reserves the right to restrict the number of shortlisted candidates for further recruitment process to a reasonable number on the basis of higher qualifications and/or relevant experience.
5. Once the application is finally submitted through the Google Form, no request for modification or correction shall be entertained.
6. The date for Selection Process will be communicated later to the shortlisted candidates through email only. The candidates are advised to check their emails regularly.
7. Candidates are required to ascertain themselves that they fulfill all eligibility conditions.
8. The Institute shall not be responsible for any delay or non-receipt of communication due to incorrect or inactive email ID provided by the candidate.
9. No rounding off of percentage (%) is allowed. Candidates are required to fill their exact percentage of marks while filling online application form.
10. Selection Process: The Selection Process shall be through an interview, which may be conducted online, offline or in multiple phases, as deemed appropriate by the Institute.
11. In case of any dispute/ambiguity/confusion that may occur in the process of selection, the decision of the Director, IIM Lucknow shall be final and binding.
12. In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection, which may be detected at any stage even after issue of an appointment letter, the Institute reserves the right to modify/withdraw or cancel any communication made to the candidate.
13. Candidates are advised to visit the website of IIM Lucknow regularly for updates, amendments and corrigendum, if any, related to this recruitment.
14. The panel of selected waitlisted candidates will be valid for one year from the date of approval of Competent Authority and the Institute can make appointments in future from the said panel against vacancies, if any.
15. The number of posts may be increased or decreased as per the decision of the Competent Authority.
16. Incomplete applications or applications received after the last date shall be summarily rejected.
17. No interim correspondence will be entertained or replied to.
18. Canvassing in any form will be a DISQUALIFICATION.
19. Legal disputes, if any, will be restricted within the jurisdiction of Lucknow only.
