Physical Research Laboratory Walk-in Skill Test 2026

Training Duration: 1 Year (Purely Temporary)

1. Library Trainee

  1. Total Posts: 03
  2. Qualification:
    Post Graduate Degree in Library & Information Science with 60% marks or above.
    Preference will be given to candidates who completed the degree through regular mode.
  3. Monthly Stipend: ₹29,000 per month
  4. Walk-in Skill Test Date: 13 May 2026 (Wednesday)

2. Office Trainee

  1. Total Posts: 08
  2. Qualification:
    Graduate in Arts / Commerce / Management / Science / Law / Computer Application with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university/institute.
    Engineers are not eligible.
  3. Monthly Stipend: ₹23,500 per month
  4. Skill Test Date: 12 May 2026 (Tuesday)

3. Computer Operator Trainee

  1. Total Posts: 03
  2. Qualification:
 First Class BCA or Diploma in Computer Engineering / Information Technology from recognized university/institute.
Preference for regular mode candidates.
  • Monthly Stipend: ₹23,500 per month

Age Limit

  1. Minimum Age: 18 Years
  2. Maximum Age: 28 Years
  3. Age calculated as on 30 April 2026
  4. Age relaxation applicable as per Government of India rules.

Registration Timing

Candidates must report at the Main Gate of PRL Ahmedabad and complete registration between:

🕣 08:30 AM to 11:30 AM

Candidates arriving after 11:30 AM will not be allowed to participate in the skill test.

Required Documents

Candidates must bring:

  1. Filled application form
  2. Passport size colour photograph
  3. Self-attested copies of certificates
  4. Original certificates for verification
  5. Mark sheets
  6. Age proof
  7. Caste certificate (if applicable)
  8. Experience certificate (if any)

Important Instructions

  1. The traineeship is purely temporary.
  2. No claim for permanent job/regularization in PRL.
  3. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
  4. Candidates already undergoing or completed similar traineeship at PRL are not eligible.
  5. Electronic gadgets like:

  • Laptops
  • Cameras
  • Pen drives
    are not allowed during the skill test.
